Medium Solid Wood Flooring
When fitting solid wood flooring to their homes, our customers by far prefer floors with medium wood shades. If your room contains a mixture of existing wood furnishings, a medium solid wood floor can provide a unique harmony between the various colour tones.
Whilst a solid wood floor could be described as having an overall medium colour - there will always be a natural range of light, medium and darker shades across the whole floor. When fitting solid wood flooring we always recommend loose laying boards prior to fixing to achieve an even spread of colour tones.
Over time, you will find that most hardwoods that have a medium depth of colour will mellow and darken slightly, providing an appearance that can only be achieved from a natural product.
